Decided to run another new FJ40 body out at the park. Switched back to Vise Crawlers with no weight. The weighted Cliff Crawlers (9oz in each front, 6oz in each rear) is just too much for everyday running. Might as well save some wear and tear with lighter running gear. Save the CCs for comps.

Looks like good fun, I would agree about the weighted tires. Sort of like the guys who run oversized wheels on their 1:1 rigs and then start to experience problems with the axles, bearings and drivetrain etc. that wouldn't have shown up for much longer, if ever using factory sized wheels and tires.

Its funny to feel how light it is as standard. When I switched back to unweighted wheels I nearly threw the rig off the table when I went to lift it, it felt like a feather.

I run mostly alloy wheels without weights. All that weight is hard on components. Weights do help, but too much of anything...

if i did put wieghts in the front it would be for comps, weights are just too much for everyday driving
