Started a new project based on a Portuguese UMM Cournil that participated in the Paris-Dakar in 1983 (or arround that date).

The Portuguese UMM team (never mind the captions on the picts)

20 years later the car was in this condition

And after a full rebuild it stands like this

I've used some CAD drawings from a new version of the UMM and redesigned the front end.

At the moment it stands like this...

This is going to sport tamiya tlt-1 axels, some central transmission (haven't decided about it yet) and I'm going to skip the leaf suspension and use a 4-link system.

more to follow...

It's "baking in the oven" as I need to improve my skills on working with styrene. Besides that, I'm having a lot of work at the moment, and I don't have much time to work on it... but it will came alive in a near future :)

cool project, not a truck I've ever heard of before but it looks very simple and pratical which I really like! Nice styrene work to!
