Tamiya pajero

New to the hobby and forum. Just purchased Tamiya Pajero, out of box today, ran it, lots of tire rubbing. Is this normal for this car.Wanted to get some tips on lifting body a bit, and other mods.. Want to build scale model but want if off road worthy. Thanks.

Hi Crawldoctor and welcome...you will find this site really useful...plenty to learn and this site has all the tech advise you could possibly need...take a look round in the CC-01 section...plenty of "how to" in THAT section...also,if you can grab a copy of the RC Car action "Rock Crawler" annual 2009...they did a really nifty build on a CC-01 chassis...worth look...if you hav'nt already considered it as your first upgrade...i would go with a full set of bearings and a 55t-60t motor...more control and plenty of pulling power...scale speeds to...hope this is of use...good luck.
