cc build, body undecided

i wanted to put this clod body on my xc, but it has had a dropped bed added, and i cant get it sitting low enough, i think this is far to high, what do you guys think?

ignore the wheel base been off, that will be sorted afterwards

Hmm... thats tough. Ive always wanted to see a Clod body on a cc-01 so i say go for it!!:thumb:

the clod would have been easy, except for the dropped bed

Maybe put some f-350/hilux tires ( cheap at tower) on it to fill more of the fender well and give slightly better ground clearance.

It'd be great to see the Clod on there. You could get the Dremel out and attack the chassis until it fits. :eek:

...mmm, actually I'd just get a new Clod body for this project and save the drop-bed for something else (where the fit wouldn't be so tight)

CLOD all the way! i agree attack the chassis! and a little lift in the rear would just resemble a 2 wd :) so i think it'd look great :)

Tough call.....I'd save the clod body myself and go with the brat. Looks like the only option is to remove the drop bed and do a tonneau to get it low enough..

The Brat body looks good, but I don't think I've seen a Clod CC yet. Would you do a short bed Clod? Or a long wheelbase chassis?

i've had an offer that to good to refuse for the clod body, so i'm going with the brat body on this

well i've decided this will be a brat, mud bogger.

i'm not bothered about it looking good as it will be used and abused, i intend it to be totaly waterproof, as it will be seeing lots of mud and water
