I don't know personally, but this is what I would look into.
You can get another rear axle from this truck and put that up front. But it may be too skinny because it is designed to have dually wheels/tires on the back, so if you did get another rear axle for the front you may have to put in some spacers.
Another option would be a TLT axle up front. They are a little bit wider then the semi axles. I don't know exact width, but that can be found out.
Either way, your biggest issue will be the 3 speed tranny. The semi trannys don't have an out port for the front. I don't know if anyone has ever tried this, but I would be tempted to think you can get the out drive from the Hi-lift tranny and install it into your semi tranny. Of course you would have to drill a hole to allow the front post to show. Would be an interesting project.

you may also be able to put a transfer case behind the semi 3 speed and then run a driveshaft forward and rearward.

What he said!
This is probably the best option. No need then to modify the transmission with custom built parts and that sort of modification would also require re-positioning the trans further back on the chassis.
TLT axles are likely your best choice for a front axle although they may be a little wider than the standard rear semi axles, depending on your wheel offset.
I've thought about building a 4x4 or 6x6 1850L but that is another project that is waa-aay back on the back-burner. I'm keen to see the pics when you get it done. :)

I know joes custom truck stop or something like that on scale4x4 makes some of his rigs work with all wheel drive... you may be able to ask him what he uses or even buy the front end kit from him all assembled...
