Looks like much fun! Would be great to have an indoor space like that around here that could be used for that purpose.

The sound effects made me want to gouge my eardrums out! In a good way though:thumb:

Looks like a pretty cool place to do some scale crawling!

I'll definitely have to come to the next one! When is it?

That is not yet decided .
I first need more people committing to it .
At our previous event in May we had less guys showing up as what we had at the first time last year in November …
If you asked me , I would do that every weekend , ha …
I would like to do it every 2 months or so ,
But for that I do need feedback of people to come ..
For this May event I had a good bunch of people contacting me ,
and writing me they would come , but NON of them showed up …
No new guys .
On some of the other forums it was said that there was evidently a competition event the same weekend ? and some didn’t like that it was on a Holiday weekend ,
and others didn’t want to pay the $ 20,- registration fee .
We had the same crew ( a couple less ) as last time ,
The guys from Full-Throttle-RC !
We need to pass the word about this ,
Since this is such a great place to play and have fun ,
No matter what the weather is like …
As soon I have a good number of people committing they would like to come ,
I get it arranged to do the next event

Just finished another video from our May 2010 Trucking & crawling event .

Doug build a very special obstacle course for our May 2010 trucking & crawling event at the AAF-Tank-Museum in Danville , VA .
A steel-wire-bridge spanning , about 8 feet up in the air , all the way along side of the R/C tank-battlefield with additional obstacles at the end .
This required some real precision driving , otherwise = crash !

Check it out :

and here is another one ,
I know it does not belong here ,
But since I like to show you guys the possibilities of this cool setup we have there ,
I hope the forums-administrator lets this slide
the semi-trucks and train you see there are my builds
the semi-trucks are 1/16 scale and use some Tamiya parts.
One of them build as a 6WD.

My only problem is that neither of these videos have anything to do with TAMIYA crawlers. But I'll let the admin decide.

Second point. I didn't see any Tamiya axled vehicles in your first post either.

You didn’t see any Tamiya vehicles or with Tamiya axles in either of my videos ?

Then watch them again .
The first video “ the Crawler Parade “ includes a Tamiya F-350 – modified as Crawler ,
and the Blue Toyota is a Tamiya , as well the red Tundra …

in the battlefield over-view video you see a Tamiya King Hauler .
this video was just posted to show what kind a terrain we have there for the crawling and trucking .

the 3rd video “crawler 8 feet up …. “ shows only 2 vehicles ,
which one of them again is my F-350 …

the last video , to show the possibilities on our play-ground ,
shows a gray German semi-truck , which is 6WD , done with Tamiya TLT-1 axles

Hey Willy, I missed it this year (new baby so I have a ligitimate excuse) but plan to be at future events. I'll have a CR-01 & building a High Lift so I can help tip the scales in the Tamiya direction for your videos.
