Moved the rear axle forward by moving links and shortening a bit as well.

It looks better, but does it handle better with this slightly shortened wheel base?
Could you perhaps post a detailed photo that reveals what links you moved where?

I'm curious about this too. With the shorter wheelbase, does it tend to roll over a bit more?

lower link just moved forward on the chassis by 1 hole, cut 3/16ths off and ran a 3mm tap to clean up the threads.
Running a 7 cell hump pack and lead weighted front wheels I noticed very little tendency to wheely more when climbing than it did stock. Weighted wheels really improved side hill too. Without weighted wheels it would probably be more noticeable.
Weight your wheels (fronts at least) and this chassis becomes practically unstoppable. Power is a novak Goat crawler system with a 18m pinion from robinson racing.
Paint was done by Norm of team3six racing, he can be reached here (http://www.myrcmt.com/bd/showthread.php?t=8000).

Thanks. I have been playing with weights in the wheels and it does make a huge difference. It's funny though, if you check the vids section, the second vid I posted has some tough lines in it and I ran it bone stock!

Where can you get that weights? I'm looking for them for a pretty while now, but can't find them. I mean that kinda strips you guys are using.

aluminum "mag" wheel weights
They are lead strips with sticky back you can find at almost any automotive supply store. I go to carquest here because the NAPA car is a toyota now
Even a tire and wheel place will have some, but you might be better off at a parts store $$$ wise. Some hobby shops carry lead too (slot car guys love this stuff) but like I said a parts store is cheaper.

All the auto places I've tried here in California won't sell you the weights because: (1) they don't carry it or (2) it's a liability because they are made of lead.
A hobby shop may be a better option.

Stunning paintwork, liking the wheelbase correction. Definately going to have to do that.
