I am trying to hook up a stock tamiya 104bk and all I get it this beeping.

It took me a while to realize that the little red plug needs to go into the aux/battery spot on the receiver. That stopped the beeping for a little bit. Now it is cool for about 2.3 sec and then the servo cranks to one side the wheels spin for 7 sec and then the BEEPING again.

I tried trouble shooting the receiver (stock rx from traxxas slash), it works fine with other brands of esc.

Batteries are all fully charged! Used a couple of different ones.

Trouble shooting the motor- switched out with another.. same awesome beep with three different stock motors.

Trouble shooting with a different brand esc.... the truck runs fine.

Trouble shooting with another 104bk... same effect... same problems

It's probably a simple fix but what in the world... I didn't think I was a noob when it came to esc.

I need Your help, your my only hope Obi Wan!!!

The TEU-104BK must be used with a BEC equipped receiver.

*Always use receiver with BEC. Using other receivers may result in malfunction of receiver.

The TEU-104BK ESC is not equipped with a BEC and the "RED" plug simply supplies 7.2 volts from the main battery pack. Your receiver operates on only 6 volts. Try powering your receiver with a seperate 6 volt battery pack instead of using the "RED" plug coming from the TEU-104BK and check the functions of the ESC again.

Hmmm....think I am using the same set-up on my hi-lift. Except I have the older 101 ESC's with a TRX 27mhz 3 channel receiver. Works ok, but it's an older receiver.

Do you have the little 4 cell battery holder that comes with most radios?

If so, through 4 AAs in there, put it into the battery input on the receiver and see what it does. Shold make the beeping stop I would imagine.

thanks guys...that was gonna be my next trouble shoot just ran out of time yesterday for the toys. My 4yrold pulled a fully loaded dresser on my 2yrold and I had to rebuild three drawers from the aftermath. YAY, no one got hurt, I was able to say "Can't we have anything nice", rebuilt the drawers and my wife really digged her man doing man stuff with his hands.
