Hi all,
I picked up a set of 1.9 Proline Flat Irons mounted on Axial SCX10 beadlock wheels, thinking they would be good for my first CC-01 project, but now I'm wondering if I'll need any special adapters. They also seem pretty large, and I'm not sure if they will fit the stock chassis. Anyone have a similar tire/wheel set up on the CC-01?
Thanks

search 1.9 cc01 on google and you may find your awnser.I'm pretty sure they will not fit at all. From what I was reading earlier today they are just way too big for the cc01.

The Flat Irons are pretty big, but I've seen people do it. It requires some modification.
I've found tires that are 96mm or smaller fit great without modification.

Thanks, I'll look for smaller tires to mount on those wheels. Didn't realize how tall the Flat Irons would be.

Yes they are way tall and hit the molded in wheelwells on the chassis. The beadlocks pose some issues as well, the rear bolts of the rim hit the steering knuckle screws, you have to space them out so they turn. I found out the hard way as well. :) I have them mounted on my hummer at the moment, but they have to go eventually once it's a runner.

The stock BFG's are on the left, then Tamiya hilift tires, Losi crawlers, RC4WD creepers, a custom set of Imex's and then the Flat Irons. anythng bigger than the creepers causes trouble. Thankfully, there's a decent crop of tires under 100mm out there to chose from.

Great Picture.
I may have to steal that and sticky it up.

If Budhatrain still has the PM, I listed their measurements as well.
Have a few more tires I should have tossed in there. :) If you want one for a sticky McFig, be glad to get a more complete one.

Yes, please sticky. I have tomahawks & stock tamiya & flat irons. I would like to see where dirt grabbers fit in with that lineup.
