Is anyone running the 4 wheel steering option with their kit? I was thinking about doing it to be alittle different, but I was'nt quite sure how to do it. The manual does'nt get into it really, other than to say you need to install another servo on the rear axle.

Would I need a 3-channel radio? Or anything else? Not sure what to do.....

I tried the 4ws in my TXT-1 and in one of my High-lifts and you don't need a 3ch, what you do need depending on how the servos and steering linkages are set up is a Servo Y-harness or a reversing y harness. Having the same brand of servo front and rear is also a big help as some of them go different directions. If it steers like a crab when you're done do the reverse harness or switch the steering link to other side:) Of course using a 4ch stick radio you can get independently controlled rear steering but that costs money, I know lots of guys like 4ws but every rig I used 4ws in was later converted back to front steering only. So check around for a good tutorial on 4ws and try it out it is very different if nothing else. I don't think its allowed in 2.2 competition.

Thanks for the info! I probably will never compete, I don't even know if they do RC rock crawling here in Florida (ain't too many rocks here!) I have'nt really checked into it yet. I'll probably just end up playing with this in my back yard with my kids. :D

4ws will make the truck turn much sharper so it can operate in tighter spaces or even indoors much easier. It is fun to try if nothing else :)
