Hi guys
Just having a query
Im buliding up my f truck and was wanting to know what materials people use when altering the hard body's. Reason Im asking as I want to cut out the floor on the tray of the truck and drop it down and use some sort of material to recreate a deeper tray body instead of the 1cm deep tray that it is at the mo.

Also do you use normal real car bog and hardener or is there something light to use to finish it off ?
I was also considering making some sort of inner guards on it as well but not sure how the **** im gonna do that.

Any tips or tech's would be great.

you want to get some styrene, plastic welder & I use squaron putty as filler.

Most hobby stores carry it & evergreen is a popular brand of styrene sheets.

Here is a link to my Hilux build where I put a drop bed in. it was a kit but concept is the same.
