Dan's New CR-01

Here's my new CR-01, I finished it last week and finally today I was able to take it out and use it at a local park. It is all stock (for now) with a Novak Rooster Crawler ESC.

Thanks for the compliments! As far as the color, I definately did'nt want red like everyone else. I picked this metallic green, but I wanted it to come out darker.
It's hard to find a place that has any rocks here in Florida, so I had to take the CR-01 to a park where they use these rocks to keep vehicles out of certain areas.

That looks like Pactra metalic green. I painted mine that color. I was wanting it darker too. I do like it though. Nice job on the truck.

Hate to le this one go, but times are tough. Need to sell my CR-01, it is a very clean build, maybe run about a dozen times. It has the JunFac heavy duty steering kit, JunFac heavy duty stainless steel drive shafts, JunFac rear straight axle kit, still has stock 540 in it but I am inlcuding a new in the box Tamiya CR Tuned (35t) crawler motor. It also comes with a Futaba digital high torque servo and Novak Rooster crawler ESC, Pro-Line front bumper and Pro-Line roof rack. I took off the stock cantilever suspenion and installed T-Maxx big bore shocks, It does'nt wobble around now and the suspenion is nice and smooth with lots of flex and travel. The stock parts I took of will be included along with the manual and anything else I can find that goes with it. All you will need to do is a your receiver and go.

Ya its to bad that you had to sell it, I do hope that it is in good hands as well. To all CR-01's may all be trail bound and always 4x4 or at least be moded all the time getting better with each mod
