been looking at online rc stores that sell them, couldn't find any(i see mostly for the ax10). you guys know where i could get one?

mmm delrin thats a tough one, I bought a black alloy center skid for my CR01 from RPPhobby

You can try and hack a small kitchen "cutting board" they are made from Delrin i think.... and produce your own skid plate! :thumb: i didn't see any on the net though .

Wyo: thought about that too, does it have the "grooves" like the stock one? thats my problem with the stock, it hooks on rock when it passes on it.

It seems better than the stock one about hanging up on sharp rocks and is pretty inexpensive.

You can get Delrin sheet stock in very small sizes from McMaster-Carr, http://www.mcmaster.com/. Just search on Delrin Sheets.

I used a DVD case to make a skid plate that mounts on top of the stock one. Slides better since it is completely flat and doesn't get caught up on the rocks :D
