Oi oi Crawlers,,

A few of my first crawler,, Cr-01 with a classic Land Rover Shell - I think it's a UK thing,,

Much planned for the body ,, Roll cage, window cages, custom bull bar ,,maybe even a MFU from the f350,, loads of lights, me thinks

and i've made a few mod to the mechanics too !

check the full metal axels ,,

only just finished the basic build, wheel is now 11 7/8 " ,,, thst's 300mm

stiff barrel springs all round, i added a fair bit of weight with those temping metal goodies !!

looking at changing the shocks for some something a bit less leaky

I love the cants ,, so much flexibility to get max articulations

any questions or comments are most welcome

Nice work, I have used an hpi body on my CR-01 chassis

Yes soon i would love a new body and some new alumin pieces :) :)

made the new frame from junfac for it and convert the shocks to normal

Bums me out mines down with twisted axles.

The wheels & axels are from RC Channel

the body is by Kamtec

Nice indoor shots, I like the shadow FX's on the your fist pic's I had the same set up on the wheel base but it was tool long for the FJ40 the rear fender would get caught up on flex, so I set it back to stock wheel base

hbc, where'd you got your rims and axles by the way? and how'd you got them also... im just here in Pinas and havin a hard time ordering hop-up kits at the web.
