so far this is what I have done...

http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/8260/xxkd9.jpg

I cut off the stock inner fenders and made all new shock towers, inner fenders and body mounts just for this body so it can be screwed on and no exposed body clips etc. this is the body I'll be using

it's a hummer concept vehicle. I found it on a Toys R Us r/c.

NEWEST PICS:

I made the top glass into a removable access hatch (velcro :) so I could charge the battery and turn it on and off easier.

I went to TRU's online site and the only one they showed was the 1/16th version is that the one you build off of? or did you find a 1/10th sized Hx?

A very nice piece of custom work :thumb:, only way I see it could be improved upon would be if it was a Jeep :D

That's some nice work there! I am usually not the biggest fan of blue parts showing on scale trucks, but in this case it looks really good! ;)

Keep it up!:)

Like I said before. I love this build. I'm a fan of the concept Hummer HX.

On the blue. I like it all except the front bumper. Not wild about that one part, but the rest looks great.

Love those tube shock mounts! Are they functional or are the shocks mounted to the "original" mounts. How did you attach those to the chassis without putting too much stress on the plastic?

Great build !

So much detail! Good idea painting the rear axle, it looks much better now. The paint job suits the truck much better too. What a sweet XC!

All waterproof too! Again, awesome chassis setup. It looks like it'll perform well. When will we get a video?

First Let me say this again... SWEET RIDE!
second: I have been having a ton of problems running that motor in my pajero, When I run this thing dry there is nothing better, with the 20t you get plenty of wheel speed and still enough power to flip it backwards on a hill if you are not careful about it. But every time water gets under the motor it shorts out and smokes like a French man. I used to run my fireball's submersed with out any problems, Any one else having that issue?

Wow.. I am speechless that is a thing of beauty!!!
