Locked front and rear. Used Tamiya Touareg prop shafts. Feel a little stronger and beefier than the usual Traxxas ones. Alloy uprights all around. Run with an old Trinity Midnight motor for a little more wheelspin for the thick mud. The truck is a blast to run and climbs pretty well with the Crazy Crawlers.

Love the 2x4's in the bed! Awesome. PS, I HATE cleaning my rigs after mudding.

I usually don't clean 'em. Just throw it in the garage.

HAHA! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I'd lose sleep at night knowing there was a filthy RC in my garage! :D

I have always liked the look of that thing. Specifically driving through all the mud.

I like it. :)
The "rust" and "sticks" in the bed really give it a realistic look.

I noticed that the wood in the bed is always in the same place. Did you glue them in like that? If so, very nicely done.

Thanks. Yes I did use CA to hold the wood down. I used double sided tape to hold down the bed roll and rope.

Nice pics!!! I love seeing these things in mud.

Whats to clean? Just waterproof everything and then you can spray it with a garden hose when you're done. Every once in a while throw some WD40 on anything made of steel, and once in a blue moon tear it all down to clean out the muck in the axles.

Funny...I am getting into the electrics because I am sick and tired of cleaning the mess nitro leaves after a good day of bashing. Nice build. What color paint did you use?

Thanks, it's primer with flat black on the hood. Yeah, I never clean my trucks cause.... it's a truck, it's supposed to be dirty.

I have to agree about the garden hose method, I do get my electrics wet from time to time but if left to dry in the sun they always work again once all the moisture is gone.

mounting the reciever and esc with velcro makes it real easy to remove for deep cleaning.

As long as you get them 100% dry before turning things back on your usually safe :common001:
