So here it is, I do like my 3 speed. All it took was unlocking the diffs. While it does kill a lot of its rock crawling ability, it does make it a great trail rig. To help keep the thing going I filled the diffs with hard friction grease. so it has some mild LSD action. does pretty good in the sand too!

THings done:

Removed all useless body stuff (Bumpers mirrors ect)
Added 145oz HT servo for steering
21t pinion gear
AX10 tires

and general "water Proofing"

I'm using a tamiya rc semi 3-speed 2WD tranny in my next truck and was wondering how hot a motor I can run in it, seeing as how it is direct drive with no clutch?
