Plenty of torque and plenty of wheelspeed! Just gun it! The Black Foot body looks real good on that chassis.

When I get a chance I'll start a thread with the mods I did. I was amazed it stood up to the abuse, I've heard gears in these strip fairly easy. This was my first XC, and now to make it last has a 35T brushed motor.

thor, most people dont realize that the gear cover actually holds the gears in place and needs to be screwed on tight, otherwise there is some play and that will tears your gears up. on a few of mine i have drilled the holes deeper and used longer screws.

i used to run a 12t dbl in mine with a 7cell pack for speed and never had problems with the gears, even at those high rpms.

the xc chassis is a pretty tought and capable set up, i enjoy all of mine.

After running the Goat in the vid and swapping in the 35T, playing around with it in the yard and trying to climb something just produced lot's of clicking. After tracking it down to the gear cover I used machaine screws much longer than stock, and even nutted them where I could.
