I just watched an interview of Mr Shunsaku Tamiya over on tamiyablog from Nuremburg 2009 Toy Fair. Although I'm sure these quotes are mostly for models we can hope they may be applied to the RC division .
Quotes:
"I've already ordered our staff to develop more new products than last year"
"We're going to be developing more products this year than last. W're going to be very aggressive"
"If we cut back because the economy is bad, it would be a blow to the whole industry"
Now, let's email him to get those last few re-issues out and some new Monster Turcks & Crawlers. Cheers !
