1. If you hit a shovel handle at while at top speed in 3rd gear your Hilux does a real nice little jump.

2. Despite there being snow on the ground, mosquitos can still pester you enough to take your hands off the controller and smash into a tree.

3. My puppy hates my Hilux and barks so loud at it that my ears ring.

4. Once you are down to what you really need to run this truck there's about 200 extra parts left over.

5. Carrying heavy objects in the bed may seem like a cool idea. But it doesn't do the truck any favours.

6. When you lock the front diff you loose all your turning radius.

7. If you follow the manual and put in 2 or 3 springs, you find its 1 or 2 too many.

9. And that "other" hilux you will be dreaming/wanting to get, is most likely a Mountaineer, Bruiser, or Blazing Blazer.

10. If you are a Chevy fan and are waiting for a crawler or High-Lift with a bowtie, it is going to be a long wait.
