Jeep Wrangler wheels

I've got a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and I'm planning on replicating in 1/10 scale form with the upcoming re release of the CC-01 wrangler kit. I was wondering if any of you had seen or know of a way to fashion this wheel that I currently have on my Wrangler. It's a stock Sahara model in Light Pearlstone Pearl Coat.

I believe its been a standard alloy wheel for Jeep since the late 80's.

You can go 1.9" wheels and use the typical CC01 wheel which is pretty similar.

A 1.9 wheel will look more scale, although in trying to keep a scale stock look the CR01 axles will probably be too wide.

All I can think of is to modify an existing 1.9 wheel like the Pajero wheel above, but there are hundreds of different 1.9 touring car wheels out there. So it might take some research and asking around like this to find some that might work. If I recall the old Tamiya Mugen Civic wheels looked a little like that for example.

looking around the ol' Tower Hobbies site I noticed that Tamiya's F-150 Racing Truck kit #58161 has a set of tires and wheels that appear similar to the Pajero. Is this the case? Will these wheels work with the CC-01 chassis of the Wrangler kit? Help me out here I'm really new to the Tamiya thing. What's the difference with the F-150 kit and the CC-01 kit. I really only have one Tamiya R/C, a Wild Willy 2000 I got as a gift from my wife years ago, and I'm hoping I'll get the Wrangler kit CC-01 when it's available for Father's Day.

They are the same wheels. Yes, they will work. Any 1.9 in. wheel, with a 12mm hex will work. The F-150 racing truck kit has a 4WD-TAO2 chassis. This is a completely different design than the Wrangler CC-01 kit.

I'm really new to Building and Modding Tamiya vehicles.. Particularly the CC-01 chassis. Can any of you direct me to pages that are good places to start to learn how to do these things? I've got a Wild Willy 2 and I'm hoping to get the reissue of the Wrangler (CC-01) sometime soon.
