Well, I learned the hard way that the Hi-lift axle internals don't fit the TLT axle cases and now i'm wondering if the CR01 axle internals fit either of these. It's mainly the A & B drive shafts that are different with each but i'm keen to find out.

.... actually, i've just checked the manuals for each and i'm pretty sure that the parts lists are 1:1 and, well, i've answered my own question.

It appears the CR01 axles are quite a bit wider than both the TLT and HiLift.

Yes, all 3 axles are different widths. TLT is the narrowest, followed by the High Lift, then the CR-01. The ring and pinion is common on all 3. The steering hubs are the same part on the TLT and the High Lift. Checking the manual is the right way to go as the pictures are accurate in their dimensions.:Tamiya1:

The TLT axle is 178mm wide from the outside of one wheel hex to the outside of the other wheel hex. Each wheel hex is 6mm wide. :)

Hope that helps. :Tamiya1::crawlers:
