Here are a few pics of the crawler I'm building for my youngest son Cody. This is his first crawler. The chassis is hand made. It is based on the same princable as TCS' stick chassis, but has twin vertical plates and a fully adjustable wheelbase. It is an exact copy of the chassis I built for my crawler, the Rock Thing. I posted pics below. It has basic stock clod axles, with locked diff's. 55 turn lathe motors, two JR speed controls, dual Hitec 645mg servos, and is controlled by a spektrum DX6 mode 1. More pics will come soon!

Sweet! I love the 2 bodies. Great use of a TransFormers image. Did you use white glue to place that before painting?

Yes I did! XXX Main Picture glue. I did a step by step how to on my website . Here's a link. http://gassaninedesigns.com/id154.htmThe picture glue works great! I use it a lot actually!
It turned out OK. but I wish I had spent a little more time on painting it. But I know it won''t look good for long anyway! My son can be rather rough on his toys at times, so I expect a few scratches! :D

I had time yesterday and the day befor to do some work on my son's Crawler so I painted the driver figure, and the wheel's. I wanted to make the driver kind of resemble my son, so I made some scale glasses and put on him. I also put my son's name on the face of the helmet. Here's some pics.

The white rims on the truck clashed pretty bad against the bright yellow body. So I decided to remove them and paint them black. While the tires were off the rims, I cut down the foams so the tires would grip better. Here's a couple more pics after the rims were done.
