This is a truck I built in 2004.
http://www.tamiyacrawlers.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=118&pictureid=835
It has a Juggernaught chassis with an ESP "JUGGULAR" chassis conversion and 4-link kit. The Clod body has the hood filled and the door handles / turn signals shaved. The axles are TLT, flipped up-side-down, with custom 4- link mounts. To widen the axles I used custom axle stubs, bearings and hex's. I'm running 2.2's now but, I also have ESP wheel wideners that will allow me to run Jugg wheels and tires. This truck is powered by an EVX speedo, 2 Trinity 23 turn 550 motors w/19t pinions, and 2 Orion 6 cell 2400 mah NiCd Rocket Packs. The truck has all aluminium and titanium hardware and is very light. The shocks are (4) 1/8th Ofna, with titanium shafts, and Progressive Suspensiom piggyback resiviors. This truck is more monster than crawler. I just consider it one big bad 4X4.

There is a picture of the completed truck posted. This truck was built five years ago. What would you like to see?

That's 3 people now saying " I can't see any pics" but I can see them fine. They are from a private album on this site. Got me wonderin' what else ya'll can't see.

That's really strange... I only see one album in your profile when I clicked "Show All Albums" which is "My Tamiya 4 WD Collection"
This one I can view: http://www.tamiyacrawlers.com/forum/album.php?albumid=82
This one I cannot view: http://www.tamiyacrawlers.com/forum/album.php?albumid=118
Must be some permissions thing that messed up or something.

Ok I see you have them listed as private albums so only you, the mods and admin will be able to see them.

That is one good lookin Bowtie. I hope I can create something close to that with that clod body. Is the paint rattle can or Airbrush ?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I appreciate it. I used Tamiya spray bombs. The Light Sand and Dull Red are both flat colors, so it has Tamiya Clear Gloss over them. I also used Tamiya masking tape. I let the paint cure for a couple of weeks, then used Tamiya fine polishing compound and hand buffed the whole body to a mirror shine. The entire job was done using Tamiya spray cans and Tamiya products. Painted that body over 2 years ago. Those pictures are from this morning. To keep it shiney, I just use original Turtle Wax.

That's one sick color combo! I almost painted my Blazer like that once. Sweet truck too. I'd have a fleet of Clod bodied rigs if they were affordable.

Thanks. A freind of mine has a K5 with a lift and 38's on it that color combo. It's a head turner. Love the Clod body's. I have another one I'm in the middle of painting. Don't like the hole in the hood though.
Thanks, Wyoming. Noticed you're partial to warm colors and earthtones. My favorite is blue. All my stuff was blue. When this one came along I wanted to break away from that and this was the result.

Thanks fellas. It's the first time I actually won a real prize (a 13.5 OZ. spray-can of MOO-tor Cleaner & Degreaser courtesy of COWrc.com) along with the ROM. It arrived this past week and should come in handy on all the projects I'm always working on. :Tamiya1:
