I live in a little town called Fairborn just north east of Dayton Ohio. There is a local park called Oak Query Park on Route 235 just off Route 675. There are tons of sections to rock crawl at in there. It is an old lime stone query that has been donated by the local cement company and turned into a public park. So there is plenty of rocks to crawl, in many different sections. Bring a wagon for your gear, as it is a hike to get back to the crawling areas, but worth the walk for sure! From south of Dayton take Interstate 75 North to Route 675. Take 675 North to the Route 235 exit and turn right. As soon as you top the hill the park is on your left. From North of Dayton, take Interstate 75 South to Interstate 70 East. Take Interstate 70 East to Route 675 South. Take 675 South to the Route 235 exit, and turn left. Again the park will be at the top of the hill on your left. My sons and I will be out there crawling often. Also, one of our local hobby stores in Springfield Ohio has an indoor crawling coarse, for those rainy days. The hobby shop is called Fastraxx Hobby's and is located at 1384 Klobdenz Ave. in Springfield. You should be able to look it up on Mapquest for directions from your location. Hope to see some of you there!
Lets hear from any others in the South East side of Ohio!

Sounds good. I live in Columbus but grew up in Dayton so I am familiar with the area. As soon as I get one of my trucks up and running again, I'm going to have to check that out. If anyone else lives in the central Ohio area let me know. Tired of running by myself.

Sounds Good Smoke-Dog! Keep me posted on when you may head down and I'll see if I can get some of the local crews around my area to all meet up at one of the two places. Do you have any areas over your way where you crawl?

Not really. I mostly run at construction sites or in parks but nothing permanent. Do you all run 1.9's or 2.2's?

I run both. I don't really crawl my 1.9s they are more of a trail rig than a crawler. Oak Query is an awesome place to trail ride also. What are you building?

Man I forgot all about you. After seeing your old schools with the custom decals it reminded me. Next time I go to Dayton I will contact you and maybe we can get some crawling or trail running in. I run all types of RC's; buggies, cars, trucks, whatever.
