I like the truck but I think with the chassis setup you could run stompers or crushers would look great

Yes you noticed. It has a 3mm body lift. Plenty of room for bigger tires. When I built this truck 2 1/2 years ago, it was either the stock tires or Mudslingers. Now, lot's of choices.
Thanks for lookin and tellin me what you think. I've wanted to upgrade to Rock Stompers for quite a while, just been neglecting to do it.

Oh, it runs. It runs real good. With all the MONO TUNING parts it's pretty nimble, but when I drive it I hold off on beatin' it. When I want to thrash somethin' out comes the TLT. It can take it.
The High-Lift is capable, but I like it shiney. :D

I like how the paint work shine and detailed. The wheels and tires are great too. Everything
is so neat and I can see your reflection in the mirror finish front bumper taking the picture.
If I had that I wold not dare to take it off road or crawling. Even tough, I really want to
see that in action in video. :D

Thank you Mr. keno for your recognition of all the hard work I put into this High-Lift.:)

Thanks for the compliment.
I'm a Florida boy. I was born in Hollywood, Fl. and raised in the North Florida panhandle woods of Taylor County. That's where all my kinfolk live. :)
Ah...that's cool! I'm originally from Tallahassee, lived in CT for awhile now I live in Ormond Beach.

Yeah, grew up 56 miles from Tallahassee, in Perry, Florida. Huge NOLES fan. Played high school football against FAMU High, Rickards, North Florida Cristian (at FSU practice feild), and Leon. Played all the Big Bend Area schools. Just went on vacation in April and spent 2 weeks in the area.
It's nice to see another native Floridian on Tamiya Crawlers! Been checkin' out your Toyota High-Lift ya been building and it looks real good. Can't wait to see it finished.

Nice you get all the best terain to climb, but you don't have a volcano to climb:bump:
That paint job is fantastic! what products did you use? did you put a clear coat on it? and I assume you used an airbrush? Love the shine.

Thank you very much.
It is 100% Tamiya products.:) No airbrush. All of the Blue and Champagne Gold are Tamiya Spraycans. The border pinstripe is a sticker that came in the kit and was applied, then the entire body was clear coated using Tamiya Clear Gloss spray cans. After the paint had cured It was hand buffed using Tamiya Fine Polishing Compound. The Matte Black details were hand painted using Tamiya Bottle Paint. Then the badge and emblem stickers were applied at the end. I also wax the truck to protect it with a light coat original liquid Turtle Wax.;)
