nice. I've always heard that works but never tried it personally.
How do you deal with drying it off after the wet run? Hair dryer? Air dry? put a drop of oil on the bearings at all??

You absolutely right. I used compressed air from a hand held canister. Im sure a hair dyer would work great too. And every few runs drop a bit of lube on the bearing.. you got it bud

Thats the way I would break in my raceing motors for carpet raceing

I just did this to a couple of my old motors. They work great now. Much smoother and noticeably faster. It alleviated the glitching a little too, but I guess the returning sunspots will just make it worse again. Time to invest in 2.4Ghz technology.

Good job Blazer.. Those motors should give you quite a bit more speed now.. and Im glad you can notice a difference in the glitching. It seems so strange that more people dont know about the water break in method.. but it does go against everything our science teacher taught us.. Lol.. where were the RC back in those days? :)
