Here it is in all its glory, stock drivetrain, bennet equipment servo mounts, 1/4 scale servos (hey it was the only way to get REAL torque back in the day), ESP clodzilla 3 chassis with cantilever kit and sway bars. Super rooster ESC and an old school airtronics radio.

The body is from an MRC World Scale Thunder King. Try finding one of those now :p

its hard to tell but the paint black and pink cobwebs on white. With silver rocker panels.

Nice Truck.
That set-up was top flight back in the day. Still see them around from time to time.

Still working on it.... been up for over 22 hours as I am writing this so I hope it makes sense....

Got my proper steering linkage back from Jeffro (included it with the stock clod by accident) and took it for a test run. :D Great now it loves turning right, but not left so much. Hopefully I didnt eat another set of servo gears. Going to tear it open again.... and maybe reverse the steering linkage so the servo arm faces the skid plate and not the gearbox (basically make the front just like the back because the back works great)

I swear this truck is so unreliable... I am almost back to wanting to sell it again :(

Still need to find a set of rubber bands so I can properly secure the battery too. I duct taped it to the frame today for the test run

Thanks... if you can see how the front and rear bumpers/servo mounts wrap under they are a real pain to get the servo adjusted right and mounted right in. Though they are very sturdy units. When its running right its a fun truck.. I just have to keep telling myself that. I miss being able to climb curbs though (the new bumpers are a bit too thick for that now)

Sold it for like $100 as a roller plus a trade for some CC parts. Sad that the $800+ truck is near worthless now. (in comparison to its hayday)

Man sucks to hear that. I have some funky old chassis with locked diffs and locked rear steer with a ancient futabai high torque, very under powered now days, but that thing is the most reliable rc ever. I climb the **** out of it over all kinds of bolder fields with no issues. I recently went to a 35t integy for a little more torque with not too much speed loss and it's awesome. I just need a better steering servo. I'd like to get rear steer going again as well.

Man curbs arent even a challenge. I roll over them like it's a blade of grass.
