Hi,

Has anyone ever used the CR- Tuned Motor by Tamiya? Is it good for crawling?

Hello, and welcome to Tamiya Crawlers. Well, I have never ran one, but I do have the specs.

Tamiya CR-Tuned Motor (35T)

Description:
This CR-Tuned Motor (35T) is perfect for rock crawing machines that run at low-speeds and need precise acceleration inputs.

Feature:
For: CR-01 Chassis Vehicle, Big Tire Trucks, Touring Cars and M-Chassis Vehicles MAX RPM is reduced to focus on increased torque.
Features smooth power transfer and long endurance.
Black motor body with an end bell that acts as a heat sink.
0 Degree lead angle for consistent performance.
Replaceable standard type brushes.

Hi yes i have one and love it its in my cc-01 parjo.it is great and i want one for my cr-01.
i would recomned it.lots of tourq and good low speed feel.does rev good and is ok for speed.

I too have one in my CR-01. It makes the CR-01 slightly slower and adds a usable bit of torque. I use it with the Tamiya TEU-302BK ESC (which I have set to the low grip throttle profile).

Got one here too with a Novak Rooster Crawler. Lots of low end grunt
