    Default My new (used) CC01

Got my new, barely used CC01 in the mail yesterday (thanks again IceChilly). Here are some pictures.

I need to figure out the front body mount. Will probably just attach some posts to the front inner wheel wells, and have velcro on top of the posts.

Will also most likely change the paint, not sure on color yet. Also not sure about the stock wheels. There is something about the gold color that rubs me the wrong way.

I tried my old Blackfoot body on it. I like the looks of it a lot. What do you guys think?

Could be a new life for my old Blackfoot.

Blackfoot body looks and fits nicely on there. The wheelbase looks just right! I agree with you on the gold rims, not the best looking set out there haha.

Can't wait to see what you decide to do with this!

The blackfoot body looks good on there.

I think new tires and wheels are a must on any new used truck. Make it your own.

lose the gold wheels... they are super weak and will shatter on you.

    An update:
Changed the color to Tamiya Silver Leaf, painted the gold wheels Gloss Black with Tamiya Chrome Silver outer rim.

Now I need to go back and paint the fenders and steps black again. Why didn't I tape those off?

    Another update,

Finished the black paint, installed the front light buckets, tail lights, glass, and spare tire.

Done for now, just need to paint the tail lights.

    What do you guys think?

Wheels look sharp, I like the stock Wrangler wheels a lot they just need paint to look right! Like any plastic molded wheel I guess.

Tim the Jeep looks great, As Seth says, the rims look sharp! Good idea...now to just make a skid plate and bumper
